Throughout the year, Lowcountry AIDS Services is hosting Pint of Hope events at Charleston area breweries. For every pint purchased during the Pint of Hope event, $1 will be donated to Lowcountry AIDS Services.

The sixth annual Charleston Beer Garden will return to The Grove at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant on May 20, 2017.

Craft beer lovers can spend the day enjoying a wide variety of beer along with live music from the Greystar Stage, food trucks and vendors. More than 20 breweries will showcase more than 40 different beers, giving beer lovers the chance to explore old favorites and new brews.

Individuals who love cooking up their own brews are invited to apply for the Homebrewers’ Village. Also on tap for this year’s festival is the much-loved Yelp! Beer Games, which test entrants’ feats of knowledge, brawn and skill.

Lowcountry AIDS Services brought a marquee fundraising event back to the Lowcountry in August 2016. The sold-out crowd filled Memminger Auditorium for “That ‘70s Bingo: It’s Not Your Grandma’s Game!” featuring special lip sync performances by Patti O’Furniture, six games of bingo with fabulous prize packages for winners and much more.

Lowcountry Red Ribbon 5K

In 2016, Lowcountry AIDS Services and the Roper St. Francis Ryan White Wellness Center teamed up to present the Lowcountry Red Ribbon 5K Run & Walk at Wannamaker County Park in North Charleston.

A record crowd came out to run and walk the 5K course that winds through Wannamaker Park. Check out some photos from the 2016 event and stay tuned for details on the 2017 Red Ribbon 5K.
